  • NARS Albatross Best highlighter eva. I use it all the time
  • Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface Got this mini version near the checkout in Ulta. I really like it!
  • NARS Laguna I love this bronzer!
Brushes:
  •  Real Techniques Stippling Brush I've been using this for my blush application, I love it!

  • Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush I've been using this to blend concealer and it works quite nicely
Eyes:
  •  Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller
  • Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Circles Eraser I've been using both under my eyes
  • Rimmel Soft Kohl Pencil Liner I use this to make my eyes appear bigger, it lasts quite a while
  • Physicians Formula Eyeliner Good for every day use
  • Marbella Felt Tip Eyeliner I've been reaching for this when I want liquid liner, but they're not kidding when they say "semi-permanent" - it can stain your eyelids for a day or so
  • Dior Diorshow Blackout Mascara I LOVE IT
  • False Lashes I haven't worn this particular pair yet, but I've been really into false lashes this month
  • Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Why did I wait so long to get this palette?! I LOVE it
Lips:
  •  MAC Viva Glam GaGa Lipstick My boyfriend got me this for my birthday, and I've worn it a TON since then
  • MAC Impassioned Lipstick I've been wearing this when I was a brighter lip
  • Sugar Lip Treatment Got this as a birthday gift from Sephora, I really really like it, but I'm not sure I'd spend $22.50 on the regular size when this runs out
Hair:
  •  Moroccan Oil I use this on days when I blow dry my hair, it sinks in nicely and doesn't way down my hair. It smells great
  • HealthySexyHair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner Love this stuff! Doesn't way down by hair, but leaves it feeling super soft and detangles it as well
Nails:
  • Essie Set In Stones I've been obsessed with glitter polish lately
  • Essie Mint Candy Apple I searched for this polish everywhere and it was always sold out. I finally found it and I'm so glad I did, it's a bright pastel that sometimes looks minty green and sometimes aqua blue
  • OPI Elephantastic Pink A nice bright watermelon pink that goes on really nicely
  • Sally Hanses Mega Shine Top Coat It's the best top coat I've tried so far

MyGlam Bag | July!

I know I'm a bit late posting this, sorry! For starters - I love the bag itself this month! Very cute and it being sheer is quite helpful when looking for a specific item.
Overall, I was pleased with the items I received this month!
Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes:
I use makeup wipes most nights to get the majority of my makeup off before using my cleanser. I typically use Neutrogena ones, but I was interested in trying different brands. I wasn't a huge fan of the scent of these wipes. They do smell like cucumbers, it's just a little too cucumber-y for my taste. However the scent wouldn't put me off using them and I'd probably get used to it after a while. These were gentle end removed my makeup well.
Circus By Andrea's Choice Nail Polish:
I received this white nail polish, is Reverso the name? At first I was a little bummed that I got white, as I thought I'd rather get a pink or some other bright color, but the white has come in handy! The first time I wore it, it chipped super fast. However, I wore it again and it lasted fine, so I'm not too sure what happened there as I always use the same top coat, etc. I've never seen this brand for sale anywhere so I don't know how much it is or where you could find it, but so far I like it okay.  I'd probably buy another color if I came across them.
Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Lotion:
I haven't tried this moisturizer (I have a bunch I want to get through first), but I was excited to get something from Kiehl's as I'd seen it and heard of it, but never tried anything from them. My skin can get a bit oily in the summer, so I was happy to receive this as it's for normal to oily skin types and is oil free.
Josie Maran Magic Marker Lip & Cheek Stain in Tango:
I was probably most excited about this as I love lip stains, and I love the color I received! This product is sold at Sephora for $19, so it definitely makes this $10 MyGlam bag worth it! It says you can use it as a cheek stain as well, but I think the felt tip point might be a little difficult to work with on the cheeks. Love it for the lips, though!
Nu-Me Hydro Punch Hydrating Conditioner For Dry or Colored Hair:
I was definitely interested in this conditioner as I have bleached blonde hair that could use all the moisture it could get! However, when I tried this, it didn't condition my hair at all. In fact, it rinsed right out and didn't even help detangle my hair. I typically wash my hair and put conditioner in at the beginning of my shower so I can let the conditioner sit in my hair for the rest of the time, and this still didn't do anything. I ended up throwing the tube out after one shower since it didn't do anything for me. I didn't like this product, but I'm glad I received it as a sample so I know I wouldn't like the full sized version!

Overall this bag and it's contents pleased me! I'm looking forward to seeing what I get in August!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Colour Caresse Lipstick

I follow a couple youtubers and bloggers from the U.K., and a little while ago a bunch of them were talking about the L'Oreal Rouge Caresse lipsticks, which were supposed to be like Revlon's Lip Butters. I was really interested in trying them but I heard they wouldn't be out in the US until July. Well, last night I was in Wal-Mart and found these, L'Oreal Colour Riche Colour Caresse lipsticks! (What a name...)

They have different packaging and different names than the Rouge Caresse lipsticks.  I checked Boots' website as well as Ulta's, and it looks like there are 3 more shades of the Colour Caress lipsticks than the Rouge Caresse. I can't really tell if any of the shades are the same. Below is an image from Google of the Rouge Caresse packaging:
I can't really tell which I like better. In my mind I was expecting the packaging to look the same when it came to the US, so I don't know.

On to the product, I picked the shade Sunset Angora 176, but a lot of them looked really nice and I think I'll pick up more. It's a lightweight lipstick, a bit sheer but still gives nice color payoff. I can't speak for the other shades, but I like that this one's color came out pretty much exactly like the color on the packaging. The finish is on the glossy side, definitely not matte. I like the smell! It's floral-y and fresh, something I felt was lacking with the Revlon Lip Butters. I think the Colour Caresse lipsticks are a bit firmer than the Revlon Lip Butters as well. I like both but I think I like the Colour Caresse lipsticks more.

I bought my L'Oreal Colour Riche Colour Caresse lipstick at Wal-Mart for $7.98 (cheaper than Ulta where they're $9.99, just sayin'!). I really like it and I want more shades.

My Fourth Of July Nails

I was bored today, hanging out watching random videos on YouTube. I went to the channel called "cutepolish" and saw her tutorial for Fourth Of July nails and was inspired to try some of my own! Now, I'm not even going to pretend that mine look great, in fact my right hand looks so bad I refused to show it. But I feel like if you don't look that closely they look kind of okay... haha! Anyway, here are the polishes I used:
Essie e-nuf is e-nuf, Sally Hansen Celeb City and Blue Me Away
I use this Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat as well.
I painted my fingers blue and silver, two coats of each, then took the tip of the brush and made silver stars (or my attempt at star-ish figures) on the blue. With the tip of the red, I tried to make stripes on my silver finger nails. It came out pretty messy but I'm sure with practice it could look waaaay better.
Just thought I'd share, I've been getting into nail art lately so hopefully I'll start getting better~~.
